Registration

We're delighted your child is interested in playing soccer as a new or returning player. Please review the information about the upcoming soccer season. Reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

Overview

Belmont Soccer Association (BSA) offers Travel soccer for kids in 4th through 8th grade and In-town soccer for Kindergarten through 8th grade. BSA also offers soccer clinics throughout the year. BSA registers players for the fall and spring seasons independently. Children must live in or attend school in Belmont to play for the Belmont Soccer Association.

Fall 2026 Soccer Season

Registration for Travel and In-town soccer is now open.

If your child is interested in our Travel program, a tryout is required (there are no tryouts for our In-town program). When you register your child, you will select a tryout date. Please visit our Tryout page for more information. If you have any questions, please email our Director of Coaching, Aidan Byrne, at [email protected].

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

When can I register my child for fall 2026 soccer?

Registration is open. Register today. The cost breakdown is as follows:

  • Travel soccer for 3rd through 8th grade: $195
  • In-Town soccer for 3rd and 4th grade: $150
  • In-Town soccer for 1st and 2nd grade: $130
  • Kindergarten: $110

Does Soccer Registration Close?

Yes. Registration for Travel soccer closes on June 30 (Kindergarten and In-Town will close at a later date.) If you do not register your child before June 30, we cannot guarantee them a place on a team.

Why do you have to close registration?

Belmont Soccer is a member of BAYS, and we are responsible for submitting the number of teams participating for the fall by early July. By giving BAYS accurate information rather than guessing, we put our players in a better position to be placed in the correct division. Additionally, the accurate number of registered players will determine how many teams we field and how many players are on each team. Unlike some towns, Belmont guarantees that your child will be placed on a team if you register them on time. As a result, we kindly ask that you register your child before the deadlines.

When are tryouts for Travel soccer?

Visit our Tryouts page for details.

Can I request that my child be placed with friends?

Sorry, but we do not honor friend requests after Kindergarten. Players are placed on teams based on ability.

How can I order uniforms?

At this time, we are working on getting new uniforms for all players. Please keep an eye out for an email next month regarding ordering.

If I volunteer to coach a travel team, will that impact my child's placement?

No, not at all. If you're interested in volunteering to coach, please know that kids are always placed on teams before volunteers are identified as coaches. The teams are formed, and then the committee will review the roster to see which kids had their parents raise their hands to volunteer. Our goal is to have three coaches per team.

Do you offer financial aid?

Yes. You will see a note at the end of registration that walks you through submitting a fee waiver request.

When does the season begin?

BAYS has confirmed that the fall 2026 travel season is from Saturday, September 12 to Saturday, November 14. In-Town typically starts the week after travel begins.

Are you looking for new board members?
